The first Wanda Plaza opened in Jingkai, Urumqi on Aug. 12. The project is situated in the Urumqi Economic and Technological Development Zone and features a shopping mall, a pedestrian street, a six-star hotel, SOHO apartments and high-end housing.

The Bozhou Wanda Plaza opened in Anhui Province on August 12. Around 320,000 visitors flocked to the plaza on its opening day, with shops recording more than RMB20 million.
