June 5, 2014, The Dalian Wanda Group hereby announces that its subsidiary company, Renville Invest SL has purchased the Edificio España building, located in Madrid for a total amount of 265 million euros.  The property was sold by Santander Group, Spain’s largest banking corporation.

Edificio Espana, which occupies an entire city block and has a total site area of 4,655 sqm, is a Madrid landmark, overlooking the famous Plaza de Espana and facing the Royal Palace. The views afforded by the building are exceptional and unmatched in the city.

Dalian Wanda Group was founded in 1988 and operates in four major industries-Commercial Properties, Luxury Hotels, Culture & Tourism, and Department Stores.
