Wang Jianlin, Chairman of the Wanda Group, was invited by prestigious Tsinghua University to give a lecture on innovation to students on the evening of April 25.

The lecture, entitled “Innovation and Competitive Edge,” is part of the Tsinghua Eminent Entrepreneur Lectures. Hundreds of students, including some from other universities, attended the lecture.

Chairman Wang gave a full account of the Wanda Group’s history, management model, innovation philosophy and competitive advantage in his speech.

He pointed out that two reasons stand behind the group’s rapid development: complying with the nation’s general development trends and adhering to the spirit of innovation.

Qian Yingyi, dean of Tsinghua University’s School of Economics and Management, hosted the lecture and described it as “so wonderful and informative.”
